"Button Up" Vermont Day of Action Saturday 10/05/13
Saturday morning, the Richmond Climate Action Committee will be hosting a table at Richmond Home Supply. (9 to 12)
We will be answering questions on energy efficiency as well as programs and incentives currently available to take the bite out of getting the work done, including $100.00 off of an Energy Audit till the end of the year.
Make a pledge to take action and the first 25 people will receive a free energy savings kit, (by mail),
Rebates coupons of $50.00 are available for removal, including pick up, of old energy wasting refrigerators.
Making homes and buildings more energy efficient saves money, saves energy, increases comfort and is a powerful way to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that are driving climate change.
One of the simplest measures we can all do to make a dent in our own climate footprint is buttoning up our homes before the winter.
This is the perfect time to visit your local home supply store and check out all of their home weatherization supplies.
Hope to see you there!
