UVM's Center for Leadership and Innovationis offering a one-day on-campus seminar, Leading and Working in Teams: Skills and Techniques to Be a Great Team Member and Leader, on August 23, 2013.

In today’s workplace, you’re expected to know how to work as a team member and lead a team. In practice, that’s not always easy. Many of us learned through education and experience how to achieve our own personal best, but we did not learn how to translate our individual knowledge and expertise into skills that successfully help us navigate team dynamics and contribute to team success. Whether you are working in a formal leadership role or informally stepping up when leadership is needed, this seminar will help you understand and overcome the roadblocks that hamper overall team success.
