Selectboard Public Hearing

Past event
Jun 16, 2016, 7 PM

The Selectboard is holding a public hearing at the Town Office on June 16 at 7pm to discuss and get public input on a potential interim bylaw that would place a moratorium on most new development within the municipal sewer service area. This was recommended to the Selectboard by the Planning Commission with the idea that the interim bylaw is necessary to provide for orderly physical and economic growth, and to provide the Town time to complete municipal water supply explorations, an ongoing wastewater treatment study, and study potential revisions to land use regulations in the village growth area.

The actual language of the interim bylaw, a map of the area affected, and other information can be found on the Town website – http://www.hinesburg.org. Let me know if you have questions ahead of the public hearing.
