If you are a parent of a student at a Burlington school who is served by an IEP or 504 Support Plan or receives support services at school ( academic supports, speech/language services, occupational or physical therapy, social work support, etc.), are a student who uses these services or are simply interested in learning about these services at Burlington schools, we need to hear from you!

Please join Superintendent Obeng and Laura Nugent, the Director of Student Support Services, for the first ever Special Education and Student Support Services Parent Night on Wednesday, June 1, 6-7:30 pm at the Sustainability Academy, 123 North Street. This is an opportunity to let Superintendent Obeng know what is working and what is not, and to help inform the strategic vision and plan for the District. At the meeting there will be opportunities to present your ideas in multiple formats, including anonymously if that is most comfortable for you. If you cannot make the meeting but have experiences and ideas to share call me directly, and I will pass on the information to Superintendent Obeng and Ms. Nugent.
