Did you know that dragonflies spend part of their life in the water, or that bullfrog tadpoles remain tadpoles for up to five years? Learn all about dragonflies, tadpoles, and the rest of the aquatic ecosystem in the underwater world of our local pond at The Nature Museum, in Grafton, VT, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 18.
We’ll have a short indoor presentation on pond life, then take a short walk over to the pond across from The Nature Museum in Grafton. The pond hosts animals of all shapes and sizes, with a variety of life-cycles. Using dip nets, we will search for insects, fish, amphibians, and pond critters. It’s a great program for all ages!
The interactive program is for the whole family. We welcome donations for the program and for browsing The Nature Museum. Find out more on our website: www.nature-museum.org.
