The public is encouraged to come to a Special Select Board Informational Meeting to learn more about the proposed commercial Orchard Road Solar Project I, that would be built on fields that are part of the old apple orchard off West St. along Orchard and Wescott Roads, owned by Dan and Judy Querrey. The company leasing the land and developing the project would be groSolar. GroSolar is sending representatives to this meeting to explain their plan and answer questions from townspeople.

The meeting will take place Thursday, June 2, 7 pm in the SCHOOL multi-purpose room. For many reasons, some of us with land and homes in the vicinity are very disturbed about the location and scope of the project. Our group of concerned neighbors and residents urges everyone to come and be educated on this topic, which would affect our whole little town. Thank you - Dan McKeen and Ellen Secord
