Spring Blood Drive 2016 The Harwood Union Student Government is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 10:30 am -4pm in the Middle School Multi-purpose Room. Blood donors must be at least 17 years of age, or 16 with parental consent, weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health on the day of donation. Young people under the age of 19 may need to meet additional height and weight restrictions.

There will be an opportunity for staff and students to make an appointment, during the lunch blocks on Thursday May 26 & Friday May 27 or you can sign-up on line. Parent consent forms for 16 year-old will be available at the sign-up table or can be downloaded at http://www.redcrossblood.org. Walk-in donors from the community are always welcome.

Donors can safely give blood every eight weeks and most medications and medical conditions do not prevent someone from being a blood donor. The Red Cross encourages healthy adults to give blood and share their good health with those who must rely on blood transfusions.
