Open Studio in Williston

Past event
May 28, 10 AM to 5 PM, May 29, 2016

Nancy Stone’s art studio (294 Old Creamery Road, Williston) is participating in the Vermont Crafts Council's Open Studio Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, May 28 & 29 from 10-5.

The tree-top studio features new work from this past year, including many small, affordable pieces of art that would make lovely graduation or wedding presents. A special display is a multi-year watercolor project documenting road trips to each Vermont town as part of the 251 Club. Also on exhibit will be ten miniature hand-made books, titled "Chords of Time", and the watercolor painting "Blue Creek" which was awarded Best in Show last year at the Northern Vermont Artists' Association's June juried show. There is also a 50 percent off clearance sale of selected unframed paintings.

Open Studio Weekend celebrates the visual arts, the creative process and the role that artists and craftspeople play in the vitality of Vermont’s communities and economy. A free guide to all 240 artists at 201 Vermont sites is available at Artists’ Mediums, Sweet Grass Gallery & Gifts, at participating studios, and on the Vermont Crafts Council website. Look for yellow signs directing you to studios for this unique opportunity to meet the artists in their workspaces!
