Free Resin Jewelry Workshop at Library

Past event
May 26, 2016, 2:45 to 4:15 PM

Another fun after school-program is scheduled for this Thursday from 2:45-4:15! Kids are invited to a resin casting jewelry workshop, where they can create one-of-a-kind, professional looking pendants!

Resin jewelry is made from liquid plastic that turns solid when a hardener is added. You can suspend an object forever in clear plastic, such as a sprig of tiny flowers, a fern, a dead bug, a shimmering piece of confetti, a photo or a tiny collage. We have an assortment of empty brass pendants that kids will enjoy filling with tiny objects and encasing them in resin, as well as a ton of molds to use.

Don't miss the fun this Thursday, 5/26!
