The New, High-Tech, Innovative Hinesburg Water Treatment Facility is 99% complete and will be holding an Open House this Friday from 10-2. Come see this great new facility, treatment system and the Water Quality Professionals that will be operating this system to provide high quality drinking water to Hinesburg village and the area schools.
Our Open House is in conjunction with Vermont Water Quality Day. A day set aside to celebrate the professionals who keep your drinking water safe, and your wastewater clean for the receiving waters and aquatic biota.
The Hinesburg Water Treatment Facility features a first in New England Nanofiltration system that will remove much of the inherent hardness without the use of softening compounds (salts). We are pretty excited about it. The facility is at 150 Shelburne Falls Road; across from Jiffy Mart, behind Brad Wainer's 4 bay garage/apt.. It looks like a sugarhouse and there will be an Open House sign out front.
