May 29th (Memorial Day Sunday) “Is There a Code of Conduct for God?” by Rev. Arnold. Scripture Reading: Exodus 32:1-14. One of the most intriguing and provocative stories of faith is the disagreement Moses had with God in which Moses convinced God not to harm his people and repent “of the evil he had thought to do.” This is one of the few passages of scripture in which God’s mind and motives are changed by a human leading one to wonder, “Is there a code of conduct from which even God cannot stray?” You are welcome here, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, spiritual upbringing, physical ability, or financial situation. There is room for you among us.
