This Monday at 5:00 p.m., the planning commission will review proposed changes to the draft July 1, 2015 zoning bylaw. If approved, the changes will be forwarded to the Selectboard for their consideration at a final Selectboard public hearing to be held in June. The Selectboard needs to decide, by July 1st, whether to adopt or reject the new zoning. Changes being proposed to the 2015 draft include adding salvage yards to the industrial zoning district in North Hyde Park but prohibiting in other districts; adding new conditional (commercial) uses to the RR2 District, and exempting most fences from obtaining a zoning permit, if not exceeding 7-feet in height.
