Parent Leadership Workshop
Horses Helping You Become the Parent Your Child Needs You To Be

To increase positive parent-child interaction you must project yourself in a leadership role, one where you are consistent, assertive, kind, and fair. If these skills are not in balance, your communication will not be effective, nor will your parenting. You may be left frustrated and tired as a result.
That’s where horses come in. Developing a relationship with a horse is the same as developing a healthy and respectful relationship with your children. You must establish trust, earn mutual respect, and be a good communicator.
In this 1/2 day workshop you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain unbiased feedback from horses through structured activities. Discover:
• The importance of verbal and non-verbal communication
• What your body language is expressing
• How to manage emotions, behavior, and energy
• Where beliefs and intent impact leading as a parent
• Partnering effectively as a co-parent or grandparent
• Establishing trust
• What’s effective, by practicing change in real-time using horses
No riding and no prior horse experience required.
Horses rely heavily upon leadership for their survival and have a keen sense when there’s not alignment in what you’re saying, thinking and doing. They mirror back how you’re showing up to others, providing a safe yet powerful means for building insight and self-awareness in how you lead as a parent.
