You may have noticed that some site work has begun at the location for the new veterans memorial at South Main St and Mt Tabor Ave. The memorial will be completed this year to honor over 700 residents of Danby and Mt Tabor, and a dedication ceremony has been scheduled for Sunday, Oct 16.

In preparation for the dedication, a committee is being formed to plan the event. An organizational meeting will be held on Tues, June 7 at 6:30 pm to begin planning the ceremony. If you would like to be a part of the committee and provide your input, please plan to attend this meeting at 52 South Main St, Danby (next door to the library).
