I want to invite you to join me for an Amurtel evening- Celebrating New Beginnings through the Empowerment of Women and Children. I am always so inspired when I come back from my travels visiting Amurtel projects and I would love to share some of this with everyone here. To make that happen, our local Amurtel team is hosting a ‘Friendraiser” this Friday, May 20, at 7pm at the Valley Players in Waitsfield. I’ll share the latest news on our programs for women and children around the world, with a special focus on our work with Syrian and Haitian refugees. I’ll introduce some of those we are working with through stories and photos, and promise not to be boring.

There is no charge- a “Friendraiser” is a chance to bring a friend and hear some stories, see some photos and enjoy some refreshments while catching up on some really uplifting news. I hope you can be there.
