Healthy Knees Workshop with Aligned for Life

Save your knees! How you move has a huge impact on the long term function of your knees - use them well and they’ll thank you! Join me for an integrative, whole body approach to healthy, happy knees! Pain in your knee isn’t just about your knee. It’s about how you move and use your body in your daily life, and can reflect an imbalance in the feet, quads, glutes, and hips. We’ll work to restore this balance and reconnect you with how you move in this workshop!

This introduction to moving well to promote knee health will explore:

- Alignment & Movement Habit Awareness: how to stand and move to support your knee function for the long term.
- Corrective Exercise, Stretching & Functional Movement: Gain strength, stability, and range of motion in key areas.
- Self-Massage: Relieve muscle tension that contributes to knee pain and dysfunction with self-massage using Yoga Tune Up therapy balls.
- Tuning into Your Body: Reconnect with body blind spots, those underused or overused areas that can interfere with whole body function.
- Footwear: What you put on your feet has a huge impact on your knee health!
