Join us at the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District's Open House and Car Seat Recycling event this Saturday, May 21, from 9 am - 1 pm at the Additional Recyclables Collection Center at 540 North Main Street in Barre. We're offering kid's activities, ARCC tours, compost truck demos, refreshments, backyard composting troubleshooting and equipment for sale at cost, and more.

The event is open to all, but the infant & toddler car seat recycling is only offered to residents of CVSWMD's 18 member towns, which include: Barre City, Barre Town, Berlin, Bradford, Calais, Chelsea, East Montpelier, Fairlee, Hardwick, Middlesex, Montpelier, Orange, Plainfield, Tunbridge, Walden, Washington, Williamstown, and Woodbury.
