Windham Solid Waste Management District Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Saturday, June 11th 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where: Townshend Highway Garage 1102 Grafton Rd, Route 35, Townshend, VT
Limits-Fees: 10-gallon limit – Free! More than 10 gallons – call the WSWMD
Open to residents of Brattleboro, Brookline, Dover, Dummerston, Guilford, Halifax, Jamaica, Marlboro, Newfane, Putney, Readsboro, Somerset, Stratton, Townshend, Vernon, Wardsboro, Westminster, Whitingham, Wilmington, and Winhall.
Businesses, schools and institutions that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month can
take part in the collection event for a fee. Pre-registration is required. An inventory of the waste must be
faxed or emailed to Kristen Benoit by Monday, June 6th so a fee can be determined (fax: (802) 257-5122/ email: recycle@windhamsolidwaste.org).
Additional collections will be held in November 2016. Locations to be determined.
