Dana Walrath, a local Underhill artist and author, invites you to join her as she celebrates her newly published book "Alzheimer's Through the Looking Glass" (Penn State Press, 2016) on Friday, May 20th from 7-9 pm at Burlington City Arts Center (135 Church Street). "Alzheimer's" is a compilation of writings and drawings Dana created as she cared for her mother with Alzheimer's disease. At times poignant and amusing, Dana captures the day-to-day life experiences of living with a loved one with Alzheimer's and shines a compassionate light as she partakes and embraces her mother's fantasies, fears and forgiveness.
