CES Pride in Prevention is pleased to welcome Michael Nerney Presents: The Adolescent Brain, Substance Abuse, & Other Risky Business! What Can You Do?

Wednesday, May 18th 5:30-7:00pm Clarendon Elementary School Gym, 84 Grange Hall Road, Clarendon, VT

Participants in this FREE workshop will learn:
Trends in teen/preteen substance abuse
- How adolescents perceive and process risk assessment and why it is so remarkably unlike adults
- Why adolescents find high-risk behaviors so attractive
- New ways to think about and talk about adolescent risk reduction
- Additional ways to create a safe and healthy environment

Michael Nerney is an internationally-renowned lecturer, an expert on adolescent brain development and a consultant in substance abuse prevention and education.
