Bird watching is the fastest growing pastime in North America. In this program, you’ll learn how to get started with this fascinating hobby. We’ll talk about tools (binoculars, field guides and apps) and resources (both on-line and off). You’ll learn to recognize many of the 300+ species of birds that nest in Vermont or pass through in migration. Even more important, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the birds’ behavior and how they spend their year. The class features lots of pictures, sounds and stories.
