Rev. Jill C. Robinson, pastor to several Addison County United Methodist churches, will consider the Bible's influence on western contemporary environmental thought. Come to the Ripton Community Church on Sunday, May 22, at 4 pm to hear Rev. Robinson address some of the following questions: Is the Bible to blame for the way we treat the natural world? Or is it the way it has been interpreted? Can we read it and interpret it differently than we and others have been taught? Why is it so important to understand the role that the Bible has played in shaping the way we engage the natural world? Admission is free and light refreshment will be provided.
