Love flowers in your gardens? Wish you knew which ones would encourage butterflies? Want tips for great flower success?

Master Gardener Henry Homeyer presents tested flower-gardening tips, how-to, and wisdom at Waterford's Davies Memorial Library on Saturday May 21 at 6:30 pm.

The family-friendly program includes special insight on bringing butterflies to the garden, and how to choose flowers for lovely landscapes.

Henry Homeyer is a lifelong organic gardener, whose news on Vermont Public Radio and columns in the New York Times and Boston Globe have boosted gardeners for decades. A UNH Master Gardener, he lives in Cornish Flat, NH, and will bring with him his favorite weeding tools, as well as some of his books.

Special tips on Monarch butterfly "way stations" will also be on hand.

The Davies Memorial Library is located across from the Rabbit Hill Inn at 111 Lower Waterford Road, Lower Waterford, Vt.

This program is offered free and open to the public, although an adult suggested donation of $5 will help the library pay for this outstanding guest. Kids are welcome, and so are questions.
