This day honors Horace Greeley, a man of integrity and the founder of the Tribune in New York City. He learned the printing trade in E. Poultney, Vermont, going on to be an effective and outspoken journalist. This event is designed to aid and encourage hopeful writers in their journey. The keynote speaker is Brother Christopher Savage of the monks at New Skete. He is the author of books on the spirit, and also o raising dogs, which is the occupation of the monks. Do you wish to express your concerns, but not stridently, to be an effective activist? Do you want to see how one goal may change into another as you write? Be introduced to the writer's life by professionals who are living it. The course fee is $70 for adults; $20 for students.
