Laura Molinelli and Ben Campbell
to perform at OPC
Talented musicians Laura Molinelli and Ben Campbell, who perform together as Luminous Crush, will appear together in concert on May 22, at 4 PM, in Weston’s Old Parish Church on Route 100.
Laura and Ben are not only at home with acoustic instruments but with effects pedals, drum kits and amplifiers as well. Ben Campbell has collaborated with a number of Vermont’s musical luminaries. , Laura Molinelli has been a part of the New York and New England music scene for the past 15 years. Prior to forming Luminous Crush, Laura has won many fans for her solo performances and her appearances with the Bondville Boys.
This concert is the latest presentation in the Hearts & Voices Performance Series, established in 2009 in memory of G. Frederick (Fritz) Zeller. Revenues from the performances are donated to benefit deserving area non-profit organizations. In 2016, patrons are asked to donate $10 each which will benefit three neighborhood food pantries. Laura and Ben are graciously donating their talent, as have other H&V performers, which means that all money received will go to help alleviate hunger in South Central Vermont.

Earlier in the day, during the regular 10:30 service, Carolyn and the choir will be joined by vocalist Anwen Su, a student at Burr & Burton Academy, as OPC’s Music Committee continues to provide musical enhancement to our Sunday services. It will be a special event.
