National Bike Travel Weekend is an opportunity for you to try traveling and camping by bicycle.
The group camping site at Lake Shaftsbury State Park has been reserved for a limited number of people on the nights of June 3rd and 4th you and your family and friends are invited to join in this camping weekend. There will be FREE lean-to shelters (you don't even need a tent) with fireplaces and picnic tables. All of the facilities of Lake Shaftsbury will be available during daylight hours - the beach, boat rentals, fishing, concessions, showers - at normal day rates. There are also two excellent ice cream shops within about three miles of the park!
Cue sheets for back road routes are available from Bennington, Manchester, and Cambridge, NY.
