This Memorial Day weekend will see the 37th annual Hardwick Spring Festival Fun Run, and this year we’ve moved it to the Hardwick Trails. The walk/run will start in front of the Hardwick Inn, then head up N. Main St. to join the trails at Green Mountain Technology Center. From there walkers and runners will follow a well-marked course on the lower trail system, exiting behind Hazen and returning downtown. See Hardwick Trails’ website (hardwicktrails.net) for a map of the 5.15 km race course, and download a registration form to take advantage of reduced race entry fees for pre-registrants. Younger kids will still have the option of doing the traditional 1k downtown loop.
Registration starts at 7:45 am
1k run and 5k walk start at 8:30 am
5k run starts at 9:00 am
Race fee: Free for 1k participants, $5 for kids, $10 for adults (+$5 day of event)
Great prizes available to top finishers and those who come closest to their predicted time!
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Hardwick Trails and NEK Kids on the Move.

Emmett Avery will also lead a group mountain bike ride on Hardwick Trails’ single track network at 1 pm Sat 5/28: meet at the trailhead behind Hazen with your bike and helmet. All levels welcome.
