Growing Garlic and Wood Oven Pizza Party

Learn about the last crop planted in our Vermont growing season and why it should be on any beginners list of easy crops to grow. Dave will teach you all you need to know in order to plant your own garlic this fall for a 2014 harvest. Tour finishes with a Wood-fired Oven Pizza Party for those who wish to stay and enjoy a farm to table experience.
Tour is part of the Mad River Localvores' Farm and Garden Tour series. Tours are always free and open to everyone. Donations are appreciated, and allow us to continue to offer these community-oriented programs.
For those who wish to stay for Wood Oven Pizza, it will be $3 per slice. Please bring cash.
