Dear Students, The Clay Class opens for the summer with a discussion of the "A'a" from the Rurutu Island culture a piece much admired by H. Moore and P. Picasso both of whom possessed casts of this very unusual sculpture. This year we will continue our investigations into representation,form and self-expression by making sculptures and learning about exemplary works of art from around the world. The cost is $15 per week including clay; firing is $5 per piece.
