The Berlin Elementary School is nearly 50 years old and we have begun the process of a needs assessment to plan for the future. You are invited to attend a presentation by John Hemmelgarn of Black River Design on TUESDAY, MAY 17 @ 7PM to hear about the initial review of the building and learn more about the process, including community input, RFPs, voting and bonding. Your voice as a community member is critical to making sure we solve the existing problems with the building in a way that creates a safer, more efficient building in a transparent and responsible way.

We are seeking community members to participate on a facilities committee. We would meet approx. every other week for 2 hours through the summer and fall. We would love to benefit from the experience and talent of Berliners in planning for this project. Please contact me if you are interested or show up at the meeting on Tuesday.
