Join us on June 4th at Rusty Parker Park for Waterbury's annual Kids Fest. In 2016, the Kids Fest theme is "On the Move," promoting healthy living through a variety of physical and athletic activities. We expect to include interactive programs featuring yoga, martial arts, cycling, gymnastics, hockey, dance, soccer and more. New this year, Kids Fest will feature the Burton Riglet snowboarding experience and the Northern Lights Rock Wall! Free food is generously provided by local growers and merchants. Our dedicated vendors return year after year to offer free, interactive, healthy activities for the whole family. You might find a few children petting some goats while their sister walks along a backyard slackline. Nearby, their friends are singing along to the live entertainment and learning martial arts moves. Next to the stage, a yoga instructor gets ready to lead the crowd in some balancing poses. Rain or shine, come join us to play, learn, listen, eat, move, ride, laugh, watch, craft, dance and celebrate together. Saturday, June 4th from 9am to 1 pm.
