Recreation Committee Meeting

The Hardwick Recreation Committee meeting is being held Tuesday evening, May 10 from 6-7:30pm at the Center for an Agricultural Economy / Vermont Food Venture Center (turn off of Rt. 15 between Union Bank and Aubuchon - it’s the first big building on your right - 140 Junction Rd.)

Here is the proposed agenda - the focus of this meeting is establishing policies and procedures.

1. Make changes to/Approve agenda 5 min
2. Administrative/Project Procedure (75 min total - see breakdown below)
a. Review Select Board's Policy Re: Rec Committee - highlight anything we feel needs changing. 20 min
b. Nominate and vote (as per above policy) Officers (policy requires Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) 10 min
c. Send member names and officer names to Jon Jewitt/Select Board for approval 5 min
d. Discussion of any changes to Select Board's Policy for Rec Committee 20 min
e. Approve changes to Policy and appoint member to send to Town for final approval 5 min
f. Review, Discuss, approve changes for Funding Guidelines 15 min
g. Review, Discuss, approve changes for Funding Request Form 10 min
3. Project Procedures - use this time to create any additional procedures we feel necessary for task forces/special committees to function well. 15 min
4. Report on Pumptrack (Jessica - 5 min)
5. Report on Skatepark (Heather - 5 min)
6. Set next meeting date/time 5 min
