Bird Walks in St. Albans Town Forest May & June

Greetings All!

I hope you'll join me for a few bird walks as we enter the peak season for bird nerds! I'll be leading two walks at the beautiful St. Albans Town Forest on Saturday May 14th and June 11th. Registration is required through the St. Albans Recreation Department and the fee is $10.00 Residents, $13.00 Non-Residents.

St. Albans Town Forest is a gem of a spot for birding in Franklin County! Join me to explore the trails and the habitats looking for migrating and breeding songbirds. This 162 acre site boasts more than 70 species including Black-throated Blue Warbler, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Scarlet Tanager.

This is a great opportunity too to learn more about the property, the Audubon forest bird management work, and the trail project that is in development to improve access for non-motorized recreation!

Details at the St. Albans Recreation website: http://bit.ly/StARec_SS_2016

Space fills quickly for these walks during peak migration so don't wait to register!
