Please join us on Tuesday, May 24th at 7:00 at the Lanpher Memorial Library for a free program: Meadow Gardening for Pollinators

Pollinators are in decline! A side lawn is the perfect spot to begin transitioning to a meadow. Meadows are not mown spaces, but do need some maintenance.
Learn how to establish a beautiful meadow that will become a habitat for a variety of pollinators and become a place where you can both enjoy whats blooming, but also enjoy all the visitors who come in to forage in a habitat especially for them. We’ll cover pollinators and what attracts them as well as how to establish a meadow, native species, plant lists, maintenance, and shrubs for pollinators and birds.
Presented by Master Gardener and beekeeper, Denise Greene
This program is free and all are welcome.
