This Sunday, May 8, 2:00pm, at the CENTER FOR THE ARTS at Middlebury College, the 85-voice Middlebury Community Chorus presents its annual Mother's Day Concert, featuring Vivaldi's uplifting Magnificat; traditional songs and lullabies from Africa; and exquisite music by a new generation of American composers on classic texts by Robert Burns, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and Rudyard Kipling. The college student a cappella ensemble Ingoma also performs African music as part of the concert. Free admission.
Please note the change of location from what's listed in the printed college arts calendar: the concert has been moved to the Robison Concert Hall, Mahaney Center for the Arts.
We hope to see you there for this hour-long concert to celebrate spring!
