Charlotte Central School Compost Sale, Shed Tour and Tree/Shrub Sale

Brown up your Green Up Day!

Come buy bulk compost at the CCS COMPOST SALE, Saturday, May 7th, in the school's west Quonset parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon. Compost is being generously donated by Steven Wisbaum of Champlain Valley Compost Co. Proceeds go to the CCS school gardens and compost shed.

"First come, first served" until we run out!

Please bring your 5 gal, 20 gal or 33 gal cans to the school and volunteer shovel labor will be provided. Prices are as follows: $3 per 5 gallon can, $12 per 20 gallon can, and $18 per 33 gallon can.

*Also* drop-in short tours of the CCS Compost Shed will be given by students. Learn about thermophilic and backyard composting techniques.

*New this year*, same time, same place: Tree and Shrub Sale: apple, plum, pear, Shipova, Currants, Gooseberries, Quince, Elderberry, Honeyberry. Offered by Vermont Edible Landscapes. Thank you Meghan Giroux, owner of VEL! 10% proceeds benefit CCS gardens.
