Prepare for spring with Ron Krupp at the Poultney Public Library on Thursday, May 26th at 6pm. We'll get ready for gardening with a discussion of his book The Woodchuck Returns to Gardening. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Ron Krupp was a commercial organic/biodynamic vegetable grower for l0 years. He was the founder of the Brattleboro Farmers’ Market in the early 1970s and managed the Burlington Farmers’ Market in the early 1980s. Ron has a home garden and has been a member of the Tommy Thompson Community Garden in the Intervale for 23 years. He teaches gardening to interns at Heartbeet, a farm community in Hardwick, Vermont for young adults with disabilities. In the spring of 1996, he began writing a gardening column in The Vermont Times, a Northern Vermont weekly. In the fall of 1998, he started a gardening commentary series on Vermont Public Radio, which he continues to this day. He is the author of the classic The Woodchuck’s Guide to Gardening.
