The Johnson Tree Board has celebrated Arbor Day annually by planting a tree or two in the community. This year they selected a sugar maple tree to plant on the front lawn at the Dr. Holcomb House, new home of the Historical Society. In the past youngsters have been a big help with the project. There is something special about the earth worms that surface during the digging that brings joy to some of the children. Plan to stop by at 2:30 PM on Saturday to help out and to meet the Tree Board members.
