Native Plants at Risk with Herbalist Betzy Bancroft May 13

On Friday May 13th at 7:00 PM, the Huntington Historical and Community Trust will host a program, along with the Huntington Public Library, on “At Risk Medicinal Plants”. The speaker, Betzy Bancroft, RH(AHG)  is a teacher, clinical herbalist, and gardener who serves on the advisory board of United Plants Savers.
Come find out which plants are in need of protection and learn about for caring for them and preserving habitat, as well as about alternative plants that provide similar medicinal benefits.
The program takes place at the Huntington Public Library, is free of charge and the public is invited. For additional information see page 3 of the April Times Ink. (Please note the article photo is of “Wild Leeks” not “Wild Garlic”) Refreshments will be served.
