The Cross Vermont Trail Association is holding the 2016 Central Vermont Cycling Tour (for bicyclists or runners) on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks on County Road in East Montpelier. The event is a fundraiser for the Cross Vermont Trail - a project to build a multi-use four season path across Vermont (Burlington to Wells River) following the Winooski River and Wells River valleys. The CVCT offers 3 distances to choose from - 13.6, 33.7 and 59 miles - on scenic gravel roads in East Montpelier, Calais, Woodbury and Middlesex.
