Spring brings back our songbirds. Trills, whistles and riffs spill from the woods and meadows. Join the Wonder & Wisdom Seniors trip (for folks 50+) to the Birds of Vermont Museum in Huntington, Vermont on Wednesday, May 11 if you’d like to learn who is making this music.

The Birds of Vermont Museum is a delightful place where visitors can learn about Vermont’s birds. The Museum features over 500 carved wooden birds, representing 259 species. Here, natural history meets art. The woodcarvings depict Vermont's nesting species in their natural habitats as well as North America's endangered and extinct species.

The trip leaves Hardwick at 10:00 a.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. The $20 fee includes a sumptuous sandwich, fruit and brownie from the Craftsbury General Store. Call Heidi at 586-7559 for more information or to register.
