How do we proclaim our basic goodness and learn to simply be?
Through recorded teachings from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Acharya Noel McLellan, we will explore this question and connect with our own humanity, using Shambhala Meditation as our guide. Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, the originator of Shambhala Meditation, offers the transmission for this simple, profound and intimate practice which teaches us how we can be with ourselves, our ever-changing internal landscape, and the world around us. This 5-week class offers:
- A safe and knowledgeable container to explore meditation
- A space for discussion, asking questions and discovering our own wisdom
- The Shambhala Meditation transmission from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche
- The opportunity to meet others working with meditation
This program has no pre-requisites and is open to people with all levels of experience. The class will be co-facilitated by Suzanne Trahey and Alex Vlasic.
Because of the progressive nature of teachings, practice sessions and class discussion topics, participation in all of the evenings is required.
Refreshments and light snacks will be available.
Class meets every Thursday from May 12th til June 9th for one to hours each.
