Looking for something to do after Green Up Day?

Join SLT board members, Sam Gaines & Bunny Merrill, and local chef, Jack Pickett, on a springtime search for wild onions – known as ramps – and other woodland edibles from fiddleheads to nettles. We’ll discuss how to ensure sustainable harvest of sought-after wild foods and try out some great ways to prepare and enjoy a forager’s feast. Bring your favorite recipe to share – or simply your appetite!

Family-friendly; all ages welcome. Meet at Kirchner Woods at 3pm, Saturday May 7th.
