The Student Art Show opens tonight at the Helen Day Art Center, marking the 35th year of this impressive exhibition showcasing an incredible range of artwork by local students. As well as Stowe Elementary, Middle and High schools, this year's guest schools are Montpelier High School and U32. Tonight's Opening Reception runs from 3pm to 6pm and complimentary ice cream will be served, courtesy of Stowe Ice Cream. I helped with some of the hanging so had a sneak preview and was blown away by what these kids turn out. Its really worth while getting down there. If you can't make the opening tonight, the gallery is open Weds - Sun 12pm - 5pm and the show runs until 29th May.
