GREEN UP VERMONT -- MAY 7

Green Up Day starts at 8am on Saturday, May 7 at two Danby locations:
- The "Barn" on Main Street (formerly the Catholic Church), and
- The farm stand at Smokey House Center (intersection of Danby Mountain Road and Smokey House Road).

Volunteers can check in at either location for green trash bags, safety information, and to identify roadside cleanup areas. Any litter collected can be left on roadsides in green trash bags for later collection.

This is a wonderful family event that helps clean our town. Last year 21,000 people volunteered and over 50,000 green bags of trash were cleaned from the roadsides in Vermont. To learn more, visit www.greenupVermont.org
