Lake Champlain Waldorf School is hosting their annual Mayfest Celebration May 7, from 10 am - 2 pm. This beloved annual event is for area families with children ages six and under. Children can hold a colorful ribbon and dance around the Maypole to live music or make their own garland crown out of flowers and vines. Other activities include face painting, jump rope making, and pony rides (available for a nominal fee). Families are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic, or purchase kid-friendly, organic lunches and treats. After the festival, parents can linger as kids play on the playground or visit the resident bunnies. Lake Champlain Waldorf School is located at 359 Turtle Lane in Shelburne.
