The Plainfield Area Business Alliance (PABA) will hold the first of a series of meetings for local business owners on Thursday, May 12 at the Plainfield Town Hall. The series is part of an effort of the three year old organization to provide peer support and technical assistance to the many small businesses in the villages and surrounding hills of Plainfield and Marshfield.
The meeting on May 12, which begins at 6:30 PM, will feature Plainfield Constable and business owner George Cushing who will describe ways that businesses can protect themselves against the rash of burglaries the area has experienced over the last few months. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for owners to discuss their business, the challenges they face, and their goals for their business. Organizers plan for the discussion to reveal areas where PABA might be of assistance in helping these businesses to succeed.
The meeting is free and open to all business owners in Plainfield and Marshfield; it will adjourn at 8:30 PM. Refreshments will be served.
