What’s a Planapalooza?
A Planapalooza is a five-day planning, design, and community input workshop. It is an intense, participatory process where all members of the community work directly with a multidisciplinary consulting team of planners and zoning experts. The Town of Jericho and its consultant Town Planning and Urban Design Collaborative, LLC will work with local residents and other stakeholders to define a collective vision & create the master plan and Jericho village zoning to guide the growth of the Riverside Village Center for the future. The entire process is open to the public at all times. It will be unlike any planning event you have ever been to. It will be FUN!!
Events Schedule:
October 17th- Opening Session & Workshop (6-8:30pm, Brown’s River Middle School Cafeteria)
The opening session will be preceded at 5:30 by an Ice Cream Social and Historical “photo tour” of the Flats, presented by Jericho resident Gary Irish.
October 19th- Interim Pin-Up & Review (6-7:30pm, Jericho Town Hall)
The 10/19 meeting will be preceded by the Art in the Town Hall "Meet Your Neighbors" Art Exhibit Reception from (3:30-5:30pm, Jericho Town Hall)
October 21st- Closing Session (6-8:30pm, Brown’s River Middle School Cafeteria)
October 18th-21st - Open Studio (miss a presentation? Stop in!): each day 9am-10pm, Jericho Town Hall
