May Day is our day to do our part to protect the LaPlatte River basin, Lake Champlain and our community. There is a Rally planned from 2:00-3:00pm, details below. I am going and I hope you will also. Please spread the word and join us. Citizen action makes a difference.

What: Reckless Rail Rally
When: Sunday, May 1, 2-3pm.
Where: Begin at Shelburne Community School Circle or Turtle Lane parking lot (by the baseball field), and march to Shelburne Town Green
What: BYOP: Bring your own pan to bang, bring a fork, a spoon, a whisk. Bring your voice and bring your friends
There will be music by the Meatpackers, speakers (including an LCWS student, and Miss Vermont now that is a combination you won't see very often), food, and more.
