The North Country Chorus presents its spring concerts this weekend, featuring Franz Schubert's "Mass in G" and "Requiem for the Living" by Dan Forrest. Under the direction of Alan Rowe and accompanied by a fine chamber ensemble, the Chorus’ veteran voices plus the youthful voices of the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltones make an impressive choir of over 80 singers.
The St. Johnsbury concert is this Sunday, May 1, at 2 pm at North Congregational Church on Main St. (now “United Community Church”).
There are also two other area performances: Friday, April 29, at 7:30 pm at First Congregational Church, Littleton and Saturday, April 30, at 7:30 pm at Bradford Congregational Church, Bradford, VT.
